|Pattonville hosts basketball alumni celebration|

Pattonville High School hosted a basketball celebration honoring the 1976-1977 team that advanced to the quarterfinal round of the state basketball championship, the farthest a Pattonville boys basketball team has advanced in school history. A recognition ceremony took take place between the varsity girls and varsity boys basketball games on Jan. 20.
A number of Pattonville basketball legends throughout the years were on hand, including Brian Grawer, Corey Tate and Darrow Washington, three of Pattonville's top scoring players in school history, and Ray Sansouci, who holds the school record for most points in a single game (54). Several coaches from the various years were also on hand. Former basketball coach and athletic director Bob Benben was instrumental in bringing the celebration together.
