DO YOU WANT TO COMPETE IN INDIVIDUAL SPEAKING EVENTS SUCH AS ORIGINAL ORATORY, RADIO SPEAKING, EXTEMP, INTERP?~ There will be introduction workshops for all students interested in these events.~ ("Interpretation" includes dramatic, humorous, and duo interp as well as poetry, prose, and storytelling).~ Today, Jan. 8, we will work on Interp.~ Tomorrow, Jan. 9, we will work on Radio Speaking.~~ The workshops will run from 2:30pm to 4:10pm in Mr. Frazier's room, A214.~ If you can't make it to the workshops but want to compete, you need to let Mr. Frazier know beforehand.~

JUNIORS, WHO RECEIVED AN INVITATION FOR THE "TEAM TOP 20" SEMINAR ON MONDAY, FEB 18TH, must RSVP to Ms. Kampschroeder by Thursday, January 10th. The seminar will be cancelled if there are not at least 30 people signed up by January 10th.
9TH & 10TH GRADERS, who plan to apply to college, are highly encouraged to attend a college planning meeting on tomorrow, January 9th from 6-6:45pm in the Auditorium.
COLLEGE BOUND SENIORS, who need help filling out the FAFSA form for financial assistance for college, should attend a session in the Auditorium tomorrow, January 9th from 7-8 pm. Bring a pen and paper to take notes.
