COME SEE THE ONE-ACT PLAYS tonight, April 18 at 7pm in room A213.  Tickets are $3 and you can get them from Ms. Corvera or at the door.

DETENTIONS TODAY, APRIL 18, WILL BE HELD IN THE ISS ROOM - G201.  Detentions for tomorrow, April 19 have been canceled.

THERE WILL BE NO AFTER-SCHOOL TUTORING today, April 18 due to the faculty meeting and tomorrow, April 19 due to testing; the Library and the Math Help Center will both be closed today and tomorrow after school.

THE MUSLIM STUDENT ASSOCIATION MEETING is canceled today, April 18 due to the faculty meeting.

PHS STUDENTS WILL NOT ATTEND CLASSES AT NORTH TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL OR SOUTH COUNTY TECHNICAL tomorrow, April 19.  All tech students should report directly to PHS tomorrow.

THE FITNESS CENTER AND THE WEIGHT ROOM will be cancelled after school tomorrow, April 19 due to testing.

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED THIS WEEKEND FOR A LOU FUSZ SOCCER TOURNAMENT.  Come to the CSO, E200, for the sign-up link.

9TH AND 10TH GRADERS:  Applications are now available for the UMSL Bridge Program Summer Academy.  The Academy offers academic enrichment courses in math, science, written and oral communication, career research, personal and professional development, college planning and ACT Prep.  Application deadline is May 5.  Details and more information are available in the Guidance Office and College and Career Center.

SPEECH & DEBATE TEAM MEMBERS who want to be considered for an executive board position next year must submit their application by Thursday, April 20 at 3:00 PM.  See Mrs. Raymond if you have any questions.

SENIORS WHO ARE MEMBERS OF THE SPEECH & DEBATE HONOR SOCIETY:  If you want to rent or buy an honor cord to wear at Graduation, see Mrs. Raymond no later than Friday, April 21.

PAY-IT-FORWARD PIRATES!  We took the challenge presented last semester during Homeroom.  Pirate Pete's Closet will be opening this Thursday, April 20.  Donations have been streaming in to the FREE clothing closet with dress shirts, active wear, winter coats, formal dresses, and miscellaneous items.   All students are welcome to check it out before school, during Homeroom, and after school.  It's simple.  You need clothes.  We have clothes.  Girls, if you need a prom dress, talk to your counselor for a private viewing.  Pattonville we are Paying-It-Forward!  Donations are accepted too!  Pirate Pete's Closet is located at PHS by the Art Gallery on the 2nd floor.

ATTENTION STUDENTS WHO ARE TAKING THE AP EXAMS OFF CAMPUS:  A required transportation permission form has been posted on your Homeroom Moodle.  Your forms are due to Mrs. Michel by tomorrow, April 19.

SENIORS:  Auditions to give Graduation speeches will be on Friday, April 28 at 2:30pm. in room D107.  Your speech must be no more than 3 minutes and you will need a typewritten manuscript to submit at the audition.  See Mr. Lopinot if you have questions or concerns or to reserve a time.

PROM TICKETS ARE ON SALE during all lunch sessions.  Ticket prices are $55 thru this Friday, April 21.  Prices increase to $65 next Monday, April 24-Wednesday, April 26.  Your school ID is required to purchase a ticket.  
  • All Fines must be paid in order to purchase a Prom ticket; see Mrs. Mason in the Finance Office.
  • You must also have 90% attendance in order to purchase a Prom ticket.  Track your attendance percentage by logging on to PowerSchool.  This Friday, April 21 is the last day students have to request an appeal from their principal to attend Prom due to attendance below 90%.

ALL STUDENTS ARE INVITED TO THE BUSINESS CAREERS LUNCH AND LEARN on Friday, April 21.  Learn about careers in accounting, finance, human resources, marketing, and business from business professionals.  Sign up in the Guidance Office.

THE WORD OF THE WEEK IS SUMMARIZE.  This is how it is used:  In life, we are constantly summarizing, whether it is telling a story about an experience we had, or outlining the plot of a movie we saw.

PROM GUEST PERMISSION FORMS are available in the Activities Office through this Friday, April 21.  If you plan to bring a guest to Prom, who does not attend PHS, the signed form is required at the time you purchase your tickets.

PLEASE DONATE YOUR OLD SHOES FOR A SHOE DRIVE this week (April 17-21).  Drop off tennis shoes, slippers, sandals, etc. in the Writing Center, room D101.  No flip flops.

FOOTBALL FAMILY NIGHT:  There is a mandatory parents meeting Wednesday, April 26 at 6pm in the High School Cafeteria for anyone interested in playing football next school year.  Any questions, see Coach Smith in the Positive School.

PLEASE NOTE:  WEDNESDAY, APRIL 19 & THURSDAY, APRIL 20 ARE EARLY RELEASE DAYS.  School will be dismissed at 1:14p.m.
Dismissal times for Tuesday (April 18), and Friday (April 21) are 2:13.
