STUDENTS ENROLLED IN A SUMMER SCHOOL ONLINE FUEL ED COURSE will be required to attend training today, May 11 or next Tuesday, May 16.  The form to sign up for one of these training sessions has been mailed home or can be picked up from your counselor.  Forms are to be turned into Mr. Thompson's office.

SENIOR ALL NIGHT PARTY TICKETS are available during all lunch shifts through Wednesday, May 17.  Tickets are only $15.  Be sure to come join the fun!

FRESHMEN, SOPHOMORES, AND JUNIORS:  If you were unable to attend the 9-11 Awards Ceremony last night, you can pick up your Awards in your principal's office.

TODAY AND TOMORROW (MAY 11 & 12) ARE THE LAST 2 DAYS TO SEE THE OUTSTANDING SENIOR ARTIST ART EXHIBIT.  It is open to the public from 2:30 - 3:30pm in the Auditorium Lobby.  Don't miss it!

JOIN THE PHS MODEL UN IN A FREE SCREENING OF "THE FIRST SECRET CITY", a film about the history of the West Lake Landfill, tomorrow, May 12 at 5:00pm in the Auditorium.  Stop by D201 or D206 to grab a permission slip to get into the event.

THE COMMUNITY SERVICE CLUB will be recycling paper today, May 11 after school.
STAFF:  Please place your blue recycling bins in the hallway after school today prior to heading to Professional Development.

SCORES FOR 9TH AND 10TH GRADE PRACTICE ACT TESTS will be available at the May 15th “Score Back Sessions”.  Representatives from The Princeton Review will be on hand to explain how to interpret test results.  The “Score Back Sessions” starts at 6:00PM in the Auditorium on Monday, May 15.

SENIORS:  If you haven't done so already, please complete the Senior Plans and Senior Awards Survey posted on the Moodle Homeroom.  All Seniors should complete the survey regardless of their plans or attendance at Senior Awards Night.

BOYS BASKETBALL:  Open gym starts tonight, May 11 from 6pm to 8pm.

PIRATE PETE'S CLOSET IS OPEN, before school & after school, offering free clothes for your summer attire.  Beware: May 16th is the last day Pirate Pete's will be open this school year!

THE WORD OF THE WEEK IS VET.  To vet means to show that someone is qualified for a position or opportunity, or to prove that information or ideas are valid.  A journalist needs to vet sources; an editor needs to vet the finished article before it is published, in order to ensure journalistic accuracy and credibility.

INTERNATIONAL CLUB is hosting its annual henna tattoo fundraiser all week during lunches.  The cost: $2 donation for small hand henna design and $5 donation for larger hand design.

ACTIVITIES PHYSICAL EXAMS WILL BE OFFERED at Pattonville High School on July 13 from 6-8 pm.   Students entering grades 9-12 at PHS in 2017-18 may register by contacting the Activities Office before the July 5 registration deadline.  Cost is $30 (cash only) payable on exam day.
