If you are bringing a guest to the Homecoming Dance that does not attend PHS, the guest permission form needs to be turned in at the time of ticket purchase. Pick up a form today in the Activities Office; next week will be too late.
STUDENTS WITH AN ATTENDANCE PERCENTAGE UNDER 90% ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO ATTEND THE HOMECOMING DANCE. Appeals to attend must be completed by October 4; contact your principal.

THE FITNESS CENTER, WEIGHT ROOM, LIBRARY AND HELP CENTERS are closed on Fridays after school. 4:15 activity buses do not run on Fridays; there is only a 5:00 athletic bus.
PREPARE NOW FOR THE OCTOBER ACT TEST. All review classes are free. It is not necessary to sign up in advance, however please be prompt.
The English ACT Review Class will be held Monday evening, October 2 from 6-8pm. in room B115.
The Math ACT Review Class is Tuesday evening, October 3 from 6-8pm. in room H215. Bring pencil, paper, and a calculator.
SOFT SKILL OF THE WEEK IS TEAMWORK. Teamwork involves working with others to achieve a common goal and to share responsibility with teammates for both successes and failures. Employers are looking for workers who can contribute their own ideas, but also want people who can work well with others.
THE WORD OF THE WEEK IS COLLABORATIVE. A collaborative effort involves working with others. Learning vocabulary is a collaborative effort, so use your Words of the Week in conversation and writing to share what you know!

PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES will take place at Pattonville High School on Wednesday, October 4 from 4:30pm to 8:00pm and on Thursday, October 5 from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. No appointments necessary.

STUDENTS WHO ARE INTERESTED IN TAKING THE PRELIMINARY SAT/NATIONAL MERIT SCHOLARSHIP QUALIFYING TEST ON OCTOBER 11: Please bring $15 - cash or check payable to PHS - to Mr. Handrahan in the Counseling Office by Thursday, October 5. You will receive an informational booklet and practice exam when you sign up. There are 100 spots available - first come, first served sign ups.
