PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES will take place at PHS tonight, October 4 from 4:30pm to 8:00pm and tomorrow night, October 5 from 4:30pm to 7:30pm.  Appointments are not needed.  There is NO SCHOOL FOR PHS on Friday, October 6.

ACTIVITY BUSES will only run at 4:15pm today & tomorrow (October 4 and October 5).

AFTER SCHOOL TUTORING IN THE LIBRARY is canceled today, October 4 and tomorrow, October 5 due to Parent/Teacher Conferences.  THE MATH HELP CENTER will also be closed both days.

THE WEIGHT ROOM AND THE FITNESS CENTER are closed after school today & tomorrow (October 4 & 5).

THERE ARE NO AFTER-SCHOOL DETENTIONS today, October 4 due to Parent/Teacher Conferences.

ANIME CLUB will meet today, October 4 from 2:15 to 4 PM in B114.

NATIONAL ART HONOR SOCIETY will have a short meeting after school today, October 4.  This is the last week to turn in dues, if you have not already.

SENIORS:  Apply College Week - many colleges are offering FREE application sessions in the College Center all this week.

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED AT PHS ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 13 from 7:15-10:15am to help give directions to visitors to our school.  Come to CSO, E200, to sign-up.

TODAY & TOMORROW (OCTOBER 4 & 5) ARE THE LAST 2 DAYS TO BUY YOUR HOMECOMING DANCE TICKETS.  Tickets are $15 and can be purchased during all lunch sessions in the Student Commons.  You must have your ID on, have all fines paid, and have a 90% attendance rate.  Buy your ticket TODAY!

STUDENTS WITH AN ATTENDANCE PERCENTAGE UNDER 90% ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO ATTEND THE HOMECOMING DANCE.  Appeals to attend must be completed by today, October 4; contact your principal.

SENIORS:  Senior Hoody order forms are available at lunch every day.  Hoody forms must be returned to Dr. Fitzgerald's office, G214.  Tomorrow, October 5 is the deadline.  Payment is not due tomorrow the 5th, but the order form is, so make sure you get your order in even if you cannot currently pay.

AFTER-SCHOOL SUPERVISION, for students staying after for sports or school-supervised activities, will be held in the Auditorium tomorrow, October 5.  As a reminder, students are NOT to bring food or drinks into the Auditorium.

STUDENTS WHO ARE INTERESTED IN TAKING THE PRELIMINARY SAT/NATIONAL MERIT SCHOLARSHIP QUALIFYING TEST ON OCTOBER 11:  Please bring $15 - cash or check payable to PHS - to Mr. Handrahan in the Counseling Office by tomorrow, October 5.  You will receive an informational booklet and practice exam when you sign up.  There are 100 spots available - first come, first served sign ups.  Also, see Mr. Handrahan for information on fee waivers.

  • UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL MISSOURI will be here tomorrow, October 5 at 10:00am.

SOPHOMORES, JUNIORS, SENIORS:  Career Day Field Trip:  Experience hands-on careers and visit St. Charles Community College on Friday, October 27; space limited.  Get a permission form from Mrs. Luraschi.
