AFTER-SCHOOL TUTORING IN THE LIBRARY begins today, January 8.  THE MATH HELP CENTER is also open after school today.  
Please note:  The Library and the Math Help Center will be closed after school tomorrow, January 9, due to a Faculty meeting.

STUDENT QUEST NON-DENOMINATIONAL CHRISTIAN CLUB will meet in room E209 after school today, January 8.  Everyone is welcome.  Please see Mrs. Twila Harris for more information.

JUNIORS INTERESTED IN TAKING THE ACT, SAT OR ACT WORK KEYS FOR FREE, stop by and see Ms. Patrick in the Guidance Office.

BOYS INTERESTED IN PLAYING VOLLEYBALL THIS SPRING:  There will be an open gym tomorrow evening, January 9 in the Main Gym from 7:45 - 9:00pm.

THE PHS CHAMBER ORCHESTRA WILL PARTICIPATE in a day-long Orchestra Festival with the Ariana String Quartet tomorrow, January 9.  The Chamber Orchestra will be sharing the stage of the Touhill Performing Arts Center with the top orchestras from Edwardsville, Eureka, and Lindbergh High Schools, who were also invited to the festival.  The event will culminate with performances by all four high school orchestra groups.  Please come support the Pattonville High School Chamber Orchestra tomorrow night, January 9 at 6:30pm at the Touhill Performing Arts Center -- Admission is free!  Hope to see you there!

ANIME CLUB will meet Wednesday, January 10 in B111 from 2:15 to 4 PM.

INTERNATIONAL DAY SHOW TRYOUTS will be held Tuesday, January 16 after school in room D201.  See Mrs. Korte for sign-ups and more details.

PALS APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2018-2019 SCHOOL YEAR are now available outside rooms B102 and E201.  Current Sophomores and Juniors may apply.  Deadline is January 19.  See Mrs. Kuhn if you have any questions.

THERE WILL BE A WATER POLO MEETING in room D211 during Homeroom/Contact Time on Thursday, January 11.

THERE WILL BE A VERY IMPORTANT DECA MEETING on Thursday, January 11 during Contact Time in Mr. McGhee's room, B212.  We will be signing up for district competition.  If you cannot attend or need a pass, see Mr. McGhee.

PHYSICAL EXAMS will be offered on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 6-8pm in the Exercise Room in the PHS Aquatic Center.  Sign up in the Activities Office.  Cost is $30.00 (cash only) payable at the time of the exam.  Deadline to register is Monday, February 5.

THE WORD OF THE WEEK IS INFER (in-fer).  INFER is a verb and it means to reach a conclusion based on known facts.
