CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 9TH AND 10TH GRADE WRESTLERS FOR PLACING 2ND IN THE 11-TEAM CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT.

FCA, FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES, will be meeting tonight, February 6 in Coach Kim's room - G202 - at 6pm.  Come for Fun, Food, and Fellowship.  You do not need to be an athlete to come.  See you all there.

GSA is cancelled for today, February 6.

THE PARANORMAL INVESTIGATOR'S CLUB is cancelled for this afternoon, February 6.

STUCO APPLICATIONS are available in the Activities Office, STUCO store, and outside room D212.

INTERNATIONAL CLUB will be selling carnations for Valentine's Day during all lunches this week.  Let your BFF or that special someone know how much they mean to you!

THE SCIENCE ACT REVIEW CLASS will be held tomorrow night, February 7 in room F116 from 6-8pm.

SENIORS:  Come to the Understanding Your Financial Aid Award & Finding Scholarships program tomorrow night, February 7 from 7-8:30pm. in the PHS Auditorium; bring your financial aid letters & questions.

BASEBALL PLAYERS:  Anyone planning on trying out for Baseball this spring should attend a meeting this Thursday, February 8 during Contact Time in the Multi-Purpose Room.  See Coach Simpson or Coach Fink for a pass.

STUDENTS:  Do you dabble in creative writing, write song lyrics, perform poetry on the side, have an essay that made you really proud, keep a journal, etc.?  Take that writing passion to the next level and consider sharing those talents on stage at Writers Week.  Ask an English teacher for more details about Writers Week and pick up an application.  Deadline for submissions is this Friday, February 9.  It's time to let your voice be heard.

THE LOST & FOUND, LOCATED IN THE FRONT OFFICE, has many unclaimed hoodies, coats, clothing, water bottles, and drinking glasses.  If yours is missing, stop by the Front Office to claim it today.  Items not claimed will be donated to charity this Friday, February 9.
        
THE WORD OF THE WEEK IS PARADIGM (pear - ah - dime).  Some synonyms for paradigm are: model, pattern, example, and prototype.  “The paradigm for the assignment was the Gettysburg Address”.
