SUPPORT THE PHS LACROSSE TEAMS AND LOCAL VETERANS today, April 13 at PHS on the turf vs. Incarnate Word Academy. JV plays at 4:15. Varsity plays at 5:15pm. Donations will be collected during the games to help support local veterans. If you are unable to attend the games, donations are also being collected during all lunch sessions today.
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS TAKING THE ACT TOMORROW, APRIL 14 AT PHS: Enter under the Bridge; check-in will begin at 7:20am. Be sure to bring a photo I.D., ACT Admission ticket, pencils and a calculator. Consider leaving cell phones in your car or at home. This is a national college entrance exam and your best behavior is expected - anyone who disrupts the test environment will be asked to leave.
THE FITNESS CENTER, WEIGHT ROOM, LIBRARY AND HELP CENTERS are closed on Fridays after school. 4:15 activity buses do not run on Fridays; there is only a 5:00 athletic/activity bus.
STUDENTS ENROLLING IN SUMMER SCHOOL ONLINE COURSES FOR PERSONAL FINANCE, MODERN AND WORLD HISTORY will need to attend a mandatory training session on May 10 at 1:15pm in the high school Library. See your counselor or Mr. Thompson if you have questions.
PROM TICKET SALES BEGIN THIS COMING MONDAY, APRIL 16. Ticket prices are $65 for the week of April 16-20 and increase to $70 per ticket during the week of April 23-27. Tickets will be on sale in the Commons during all lunch sessions. To purchase a ticket, you must have your school ID, all fines must be paid, and a 90% attendance is required.
PROM: Beginning Monday, April 16 through Wednesday, April 25 students may request an appeal from their principal to attend Prom due to attendance below 90%. Contact your principal if you have any questions.
COME SEE THE ONE-ACT PLAYS (SPEED DATE, HENRY'S LAW, AND TICK TALK) this Monday and Tuesday (April 16 & 17) at 7pm in A213. Tickets are $3 and you can get them from Ms. Corvera or at the door.
PNEA AND SHEILA WEBB SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS are due April 24. The PNEA scholarship is available to any student and the Sheila Webb scholarship is for students pursuing a career in education. Contact Mrs. Kuhn if you have questions.
ARE YOU ATTENDING A CAMP THIS SUMMER? PHS PTO Grants are available for students attending an Academic, Fine Arts or Leadership program or camp. Applications are available online under PTO. The application must be filled out completely and returned, with all supporting documents, to the Activities Office, on or before Monday, April 16. See the application for more detailed requirements.

ANY CURRENT SOPHOMORE INTERESTED IN JOINING THE YOUTH LEADERSHIP ST. LOUIS ORGANIZATION FOR NEXT YEAR, should stop in Ms. Passarelli's room (D111) for the application and info. Applications are due Tuesday, April 17.
ENJOY FOOD, FRIENDS, AND MUSIC WITH THE PHS INTERNATIONAL CLUB as they celebrate Holi, Festival of Colors, on Saturday, April 21. Tickets are on sale during all lunches.
PROM IS FRIDAY, MAY 4 at the Westport Sheraton Chalet. Doors open at 6:30pm. Dance ends at 10:30pm. The theme is “Arabian Nights”.
PROM GUEST PERMISSION FORMS are available in the Activities Office through April 20. If you plan to bring a guest to Prom, who does not attend PHS, this form is required.
