Administration
Dr. Keene, Principal Dr. Sara Keene was chosen as principal of Pattonville High School in 2008. Prior to coming to Pattonville, Keene was principal of Columbia High School in Columbia, IL, a position she has held since 2004. Prior to becoming principal at Columbia, Keene served as an assistant principal at Columbia High School and as a history teacher and athletic coach at Collinsville High School in Collinsville, IL. She served a regional director with the Illinois Principals’ Association and the District 7 Legislative Commissioner of the Illinois High School Association. Keene holds a bachelor’s degree in secondary education and a master’s degree in educational administration, both from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. She earned her doctorate degree in educational leadership from Saint Louis University. |
Ms. Hiripitiyage, Assistant Principal Cara Hiripityage worked as an English teacher at Lindbergh High School before joining Pattonville. She completed an administrative internship at Lindbergh High School and served as the substitute principal for the extended school year program at Lindbergh. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Maryville University as well as a master’s degree in educational administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Hiripitiyage is currently serving her second year as an assistant principal here at Pattonville High School. |
Ms. Besse, Assistant Principal Tiffany Besse worked as an assistant principal at Eureka High School in the Rockwood School District before coming to Pattonville. She previously taught chemistry and biology in the Francis Howell School District, where she also served as coordinator of the Viking Edge mentoring program and as district professional development chairperson. Besse holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Saint Louis University and master’s degrees in teaching and in educational administration from Lindenwood University. Besse is also currently pursuing her doctorate degree in educational administration at Lindenwood University. She is serving her second year as an assistant principal here at Pattonville High School. |
Mr. Lammers, Assistant Principal Luke Lammers began his position as assistant principal of Pattonville High on July 1, 2010. He previously served as the dean of students and the ninth-grade principal at Francis Howell Central High School. He also has previous experience as principal of high school and middle school summer school programs in the Francis Howell School District. Prior to his administrative experiences, Lammers was a high school social studies teacher. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, IA, and a master’s degree in educational administration from Lindenwood University. |
Dr. Burd, Positive School Pricipal Dr. Donna Burd was chosen as principal of Positive School and assistant principal at Pattonville High School in 2007. Prior to that, Burd served as an assistant principal at Pattonville Heights Middle School, a position she held since 2001. Before coming to Pattonville, Burd served as an administrative intern at Selvidge Middle School in the Rockwood School District. She also taught English at Hollenbeck Middle School in the Francis Howell School District, and at Rockwood Valley Middle School in the Rockwood School District. Burd holds a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri - St. Louis. She earned a Masters degree in Education, a Masters degree in Educational Administration, and an Educational Specialist degree, all from Southwest Baptist University. Burd recently completed her Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Saint Louis University. |
Mr. West, Assistant Principal Bernard West has been a part of Pattonville School District since 1991. Before coming to Pattonville he played professional football in the Canadian League for three years and two years in the USFL. Following his carer in professional football, West began teaching and coaching in Conroe Texas. After three years in Texas he moved his teaching career to Lindbergh High School here in St. Louis. West recieved his B.S. degree in health from North Texas State now known as University of North Texas.. He also holds a masters in administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. |
Mr. Hebrank, Activities Director Bob Hebrank was selected as activities director at Pattonville High School in 2008. Before coming to Pattonville, Hebrank worked as athletic/activities director and dean of students at Maplewood Richmond Heights High School. He also served as assistant athletic director at Clayton High School and as admissions counselor and assistant athletic director at Lindenwood University and Fontbonne University. He holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in secondary education from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and is a certified athletic administrator. |
