About CHARACTERplus of Pattonville
Pattonville creates a caring community where students learn responsible citizenship through opportunities for personal development supported by CHARACTERplus of Pattonville. CHARACTERplus encourges the integration of character education into the academic curriculum.
The following are just some of the character development initiatives and leadership programs that are being implemented in some of the Pattonville schools: STARS ( Students Taking Action Reaching Students), PALS (Peer Assisted Leadership), DARE( Drug Abuse Resistance Education), and Boys Town Well-Managed Classroom.
Pattonville has been recognized for its support and excellence in character education. Pattonville High School was the recipient of the prestigious 1998 National Schools of Character Award, the St. Louis Rams Get Into the Game All Pro Team Contest winner in 2003, and one of the winners of the Champions for Character award in 2004.
