There are many types of infectious diseases throughout the world. These diseases can rage havoc on a town or community since they are spread from one person to the next by various means. The four infectious diseases listed below have been in the news recently. What do you know about each of these? What are your chances of contracting any one of them? How serious would it be if you did? You will be assigned one of the four. It is your job to make a pamphlet that would easily describe the disease, its symptoms, transmission, treatment, prevention, and its effect on the immune system.
Research your disease using the internet and library resources. Some resources are listed below in order to help you get started. Fill in the graphic organizer and use the template to help you get started on the pamphlet. |
