COLLEGE VISITS FOR JUNIORS AND SENIORS THIS WEEK:  Sign up for College Visits thru Family Connections.  Questions?  See Ms. Patrick in Guidance.
  • WESTMINSTER COLLEGE will be here at 10:00am tomorrow, January 31.
  • UNIVERSITY OF MO - ST. LOUIS will be here at 1:00pm tomorrow, January 31.
  • HARRIS-STOWE STATE UNIVERSITY will be here at 8:00am on Thursday, February 1.

THE MATH ACT REVIEW CLASS will be held tomorrow night, January 31 in room H215 from 6-8pm.

9TH & 10TH GRADE CAREER FAIR FIELD TRIP:  See Mrs. Luraschi in the College Center for a permission form.

GAME CLUB will meet this Thursday, February 1 from 2:20-4:00pm in room D115.

JUNIOR OR SENIOR BOYS:  If you are interested in competing to be named Mr. PHS 2018, please see Mr. Brueckmann (D202) or Mrs. Schwendemann (E204) to get an application.
THE WORD OF THE WEEK IS MALIGN (ma - line).  Malign comes from the Latin word malus, meaning bad.  Other words related to malign are malignant (ma lig nent), malevolent (ma lev o lent), and maladjusted (mal ad just ed).

PATTONVILLE HIGH SCHOOL ROBOTICS CLUB hosted an FTC meet last Saturday, January 27.  12 teams participated.  Pattonville team 2867 finished 1st and team 7856 finished 3rd.  Thanks to Mr. Jeremiah Simmons for emceeing our event.  Congrats to all!  Go Pirates!!

  • St. Louis Community College Placement Test field trip forms are due NOW to Mrs. Luraschi.
  • Apply to St. Charles Community College during Thursday's Homeroom; meet in the Student Commons with your laptop, Social Security Number, and credit card for the $10 fee.
  • FAFSA is due this Thursday, February 1.  Come to the College Center, with your laptop, during Thursday's Homeroom for help.

INTERESTED IN A CAREER AS A FIREFIGHTER OR EMT?  Come to an informational meeting this Thursday, February 1 from 1:30-2:15pm in the College and Career Center to discuss the opportunity to do a job shadow/ride along with the Pattonville Fire Department.  If you have any questions, see Mrs. Martinez in the Guidance Office.

PERSONAL FINANCE TEST:  If you are in grades 10-12 and are interested in taking the Personal Finance Test this spring, the test will take place on Wednesday, March 14 at 2:30pm in room B208.  The test is being offered free of charge this year.  There are only 20 spots available, therefore the first 20 students that sign-up will be allowed to take the exam.  Please see Ms. Johnson in the Guidance Office to sign-up; the deadline to register is February 27.
