HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH: September 15 to October 15 marks Hispanic Heritage Month. It is important to take this time to recognize the contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans to the group's heritage and culture.
Bruno Mars' real name is Peter Gene Hernandez. Bruno is typically described as being Hawaiian-born to a father of Puerto Rican heritage and a mother from the Philippines. His musical talents have earned him 260 nominations and 80 awards. He has personally earned four Grammys! He has also been nominated twice for the ALMA award. The American Latino Media Arts Award is a distinction awarded to Latino performers who promote positive portrayals of Latinos in the entertainment field.
