TODAY IS THE FOURTH DAY OF RED RIBBON WEEK. Did you know...?
There are over 7,000 chemicals in cigarette smoke; at least 69 of them cause cancer. Some of the most toxic chemicals in cigarette smoke are acetone, ammonia, arsenic, DDT, and lead. E-cigarettes are the most commonly used form of tobacco among youth in the United States. Young people who use e-cigs or smokeless tobacco may be more likely to also become smokers.
If you or someone you know is struggling with drug use or addiction, give them the number to the confidential hotline: 1-800-662-HELP (4357). There is treatment for drug addiction, and it works. It's never too late to reach out for help.
Tomorrow's theme is Wear Red: Show your support for a drug-free life by wearing as much RED as possible.
