STUDENTS: If you have not yet updated your laptop to Mojave, please take your laptop to iLearn (room F218) immediately to update. Students who do not update this week will have their laptops locked down until an update occurs.
STUDENTS: During lunch, please take care of your trash and tables after you are finished eating. Also, please push in your chair or return the chair to the table where you found it.
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS TAKING THE ACT TOMORROW, APRIL 13 AT PHS: Check-in will begin at 7:30a.m. Use the front entrance under the Bridge. Be sure to bring a photo I.D., ACT Admission Ticket, pencils and a calculator. We strongly recommend that you leave cell phones, smart watches, ear buds and air pods at home or in your cars. This is a national college entrance exam and your best behavior is expected; anyone who disrupts the test environment will be asked to leave and your test will not be scored.
THE LIBRARY will be closed today, April 12 during all three lunch sessions.
ANY CURRENT SOPHOMORE INTERESTED IN APPLYING FOR NEXT YEAR'S YOUTH LEADERSHIP GROUP: Please pick up an application in Mrs. Barge's room, D111.
LAST DAY FOR SCHOOL SUPPLIES DRIVE: Please help support students in Senegal by donating school supplies to the International Club's school supply drive. New or unused school supplies can be dropped off in Rooms D112 or D201 through today, April 12.
THE FITNESS CENTER, WEIGHT ROOM, LIBRARY AND HELP CENTERS are closed on Fridays after school. 4:15 activity buses do not run on Fridays; there is only a 5:00 athletic/activity bus.
PROM IS FRIDAY, MAY 3 and tickets go on sale Monday. Tickets purchased next week, April 15-18, are $65 per ticket and tickets purchased the following week, April 22-26, are $70 per ticket. You must have 90% attendance in order to purchase a prom ticket. Track your attendance percentage by logging on to PowerSchool. PROM ATTENDANCE APPEALS run through April 25; contact your principal.
PETE'S CLOSET now is restocked with soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, deodorant, and other toiletries. If you need any of these items, please come to Pete's Closet and take what you need!
PHS PTO GRANT APPLICATIONS are due on or before this coming Monday, April 15. Applications are available online under PTO and must be filled out completely and returned, with all supporting documents, to the Activities Office. See the application for more detailed requirements.
SENIORS INTERESTED IN ATTENDING ST LOUIS COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Sign up for the Class Registration Field Trip on Tuesday, April 16. See Mrs. Luraschi for a form.
ALL STUDENTS INTERESTED IN ENGINEERING CAREERS: Sign up for the Engineering Careers Lunch on Wednesday, April 17 and meet a variety of engineers. Sign up on Naviance or in Counseling.
JUNIORS: Will you be the first in your family to graduate college with a 4-year Degree? Sign up for the College Academy and get all the information you need. Stop by the College Center to sign up.
SENIORS: Jostens will be here next Thursday, April 18 in the gym lobby to deliver Senior Announcements.
SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINE: The PNEA and Sheila Webb Scholarships are due on Friday, April 19. PNEA is open to anyone, and Sheila Webb is for students majoring in Education. See Mrs. Kuhn with any questions.
