Decision Day was celebrated at Pattonville High School on May 2 during all lunches.
National College Decision Day was May 1, but Pattonville’s version had more of a focus on celebrating all seniors and what they will be doing after high school graduation whether it's attending a college, trade school or training program, enlisting in the military, joining a skilled apprenticeship or beginning full-time work.
The Pattonville School District recognized staff and volunteers for their service and named its Teacher and Support Staff of the Year during District Appreciation Night on May 1. Take a look at this year’s honorees.
Staff members at Pattonville High School presented their MVP (Most Valuable Pirate) Awards to 123 students in grades nine through 12. Each staff member selected one outstanding student to receive an MVP medallion award during a special awards ceremony at the school on April 20.
Senior Max McFarland was selected as an MVP for the third time. Twenty-one students were second time recipients and 101 were first-time recipients.
The program was sponsored by the school's Renaissance program, which encourages a commitment to academic excellence based upon recognition of academic performance, attendance and citizenship.
