Football

Through participation, each athlete will learn about self-disciplining, sacrifice and dedication. They learn to compete while displaying important qualities such as leadership, sportsmanship and persistence. More importantly, positive experiences will develop self-confidence and self-esteem.

The Pattonville Football program dates back to the 1954-55 school year; winning the Little 5 Conference in 1956 & 1957, winning the Suburban North Conference in 1992, 1996, 1997 & 1999, winning the Suburban XII South Conference in 2017 & 2018 and winning the Suburban Green Conference in 2021 (during the Alternative Fall COVID-19 School Year). The Pirates have won 15 district titles, been to the State Semifinals five times (1994, 1997, 2000, 2007 & 2017) and placed 2nd in the Missouri State 5A Championships in 2000 and 2017. The Football Pirates have made 20 state playoff appearances in the past twenty-five years. 

Coach Smith is the 10th Head Football Coach in the program's storied history. During his coaching career, Coach Smith and staff have helped hundreds of students earn athletic scholarships and achieve their dream of playing college football.
