If you are a parents/guardian and did not receive a phone call on a day when school is closed due to weather, please contact your child's school office to ensure the district has the correct contact information on file for your family.
Snow Day Procedures during Phase 2 - Hybrid Instruction
In the event that snow or inclement weather occurs on a Monday, there will be minimal impact to normal operations. During Phase 2, Mondays are virtual instruction days for students and classes will occur as normal virtually that day. If snow or inclement weather occurs on Tuesday - Friday, the district may transition to a virtual snow day. During a virtual snow day, there will not be any in-person classes. Learning will be asynchronous (independent) with teacher support.
In grades 9-12, students will be expected to complete 15 minutes of assigned independent work per class. Teachers will post assignments to their Canvas courses. Teachers are required to be available for 2 hours to support student learning and will post their availability for the day in their Canvas courses. Our librarians will also offer activities on virtual snow days which can be found on the library site.
