Each month during the school year, the Pattonville Board of Education honors students, staff and volunteers who have gained recognition outside of the district or who’ve made a special contribution to Pattonville. Learn more about students and staff who were recognized this month.

Members of the Class of 2026 were recognized during Senior Awards Night before graduation. Pattonville High School senior Myla Hunter was named the Outstanding Senior. The Outstanding Senior is chosen each year from teacher nominations. 

Pattonville High School has been recognized as a 2025-2026 Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Distinguished School. High schools across the U.S. receive this honor for providing broad access to transformative learning experiences for students through PLTW.

In May, seven student-athletes participated in a signing day event to commit to their college sports teams.

Senior Jenna Ridings was selected as this year's St. Louis Post-Dispatch Scholar Athlete from Pattonville High School. The program honors one student from every area school, a requirement being that they participate in athletics and excel in the classroom.

Staff members at Pattonville High School presented their MVP (Most Valuable Pirate) Awards to 116 students in grades nine through 12. Each staff member selected one outstanding student to receive an MVP medallion award during a special awards ceremony at the school on April 16. 

The Pattonville Board of Education, on April 14, approved the selection of two administrators who will begin their roles on July 1. Natasha Malone was selected as Bridgeway’s administrative intern. Katie Funderburk was selected as an assistant principal at the high school.
